Day 1
Proverbs 12:28
“In the way of righteousness there is life; along that path is immortality.”
Life in Scripture is always directional. Righteousness is described as a way, a road, a pattern of living that steadily moves a person toward what is whole and lasting. The proverb contrasts this with a life that avoids effort and intention. What God offers is not an easier life, but a living one.
Wisdom walks a longer road because it cares where life ends up, not just how it feels today.
Question to carry today:
What am I protecting by choosing the easier path, and what kind of life is it actually producing in me?
