Proverbs 10:8–9
“A wise heart accepts commands, but a chattering fool comes to ruin. Whoever walks in integrity walks securely, but whoever takes crooked paths will be found out.”
Security is linked to integrity, not circumstances. A life that is aligned does not need constant defense or explanation. The contrast in this proverb reveals that instability often comes not from hardship, but from divided living.
Wisdom refuses to split life into public faith and private compromise.
