Day 3
Proverbs 4:20–27
“My son, pay attention to what I say; turn your ear to my words. Do not let them out of your sight, keep them within your heart; for they are life to those who find them.”
This passage places enormous weight on attention. What is listened to, watched, and held close eventually directs the feet. The heart is not just emotional, it is directional. Guarding it is about choosing what is allowed to shape the trajectory of life.
Wisdom protects the inner life, knowing what shapes the heart eventually shapes everything else.
Question to carry today:
What inputs am I allowing to disciple my heart more than Scripture right now?
